We could not have hoped for a more suitable location for the Underground Music Station.
Nestled comfortably in the lower floor of Hood River's Union Building, this facility will be the ideal place to make a little bit of noise without disturbing any neighbors. The Union Building was originally constructed as a fruit storage and shipping facility in the early 1900's. The brick walls are a perfect shell for our place. During its heyday, the Union building could've been considered the heart of the Hood River Valley fruit industry. Our space has been vacant since the early 1960's.... that's before Woodstock! We are extremely excited to be a part of the revitalization of this building and continuing to enjoy working with it's owner, Pasquale Barone.
Located halfway between Full Sail and Double Mountain breweries, and close to several award winning restaurants, coffee shops, and well known live music venues, such as the River City Saloon, it's a superb fit for our drop off and date night music programs. The majority of the commerce in the city of Hood River happens within 6 square blocks.
Thanks to everyone who funded our KICKSTARTER campaign, which allowed us the funding to build out this incredible space.
